The poem Rozpejánok is written in free speech. The name “pejan” is hidden in its name, which means that it is a song, singing, in this case a song about a rose. The rose motive in the poem represents a symbol of perfection, symmetry and purity.

Mystical teachings perceive the rose as a symbol of the triumph of the spirit over matter. The work of Samo Bohdan Hroboň triumphs in Slovak literature with its uniqueness. Hroboň's method of poetry changed, imitating classicist patterns, then folk songs in the early 1950s were replaced by an experimental approach to language, bringing it closer to French Cursed Poets. During his lifetime, this experimental work was negatively evaluated. The turning point in reading Samo Bohdan Hroboň and the knowledge of his life and work did not occur until the 20th century. I discovered it in a literary magazine and the poem immediately caught my attention. I later found out that it was only part of an extensive song, but the song was already done, so I kept the original version. I was most fascinated by the incomprehensibility of many neoplasms. However, their monotonous rhythm is the mainstay of the song, you can dance to it and enjoy life. The song helped me not to lose heart in monotonous isolation. I believe that it will lift your spirits too.
